Watercolors™ is a unique Moving Color™ line closely resembling the luminous quality of water color. These tiles shift from one of eight base colors to transparent or clear when exposed to a heat source. Watercolors™ is available in the following eight base colors;
-Black
-Blue
-Red
-Orange
-Green
-Magenta
-Purple
-Teal
The original base color is restored upon cooling of the tile.
More »Watercolors™ is currently distributed in 4 x 4 tiles. They can be purchased in individual samples, or by the square foot. Upon special request, we can manufacture these tiles in alternate sizes. Trim pieces such as bullnose and quarter round are also available. These tiles will respond to any form of heat transfer (i.e. radient heat, ambient room temperature etc.). Application is no different than any other glass tile installation. We reccommend mounting on a concrete board backing, then place into a glass thinset and finally use a grout color of your choice to match the design motif of your individual project.
