Pactiv Corporation GreenGuard PlyGood - Ultra rigid foam board sheathing provides insulation R-value of 2.0 in 7/16-inch thickness and a 1.5 R-value in 3/8-inch thickness. When used in conjunction with 7/16-inch OSB corner bracing, GreenGuard PlyGood-Ultra 7/16-inch sheathing matches the standard OSB thickness for an even wall surface on which to install siding.
Featuring an extruded polystyrene foam core and reinforcing woven facer, the sheathing's moisture absorption is less than one half of a percent, which means the product won't swell or warp and can be stored safely outside on the job site.
Each 4ft.x 8 ft. sheet of sheathing weighs four pounds, cuts easily with a utility knife and may be installed using a pneumatic staple gun. It is engineered to withstand wind gusts up to 110 mph.
