Pactiv Corporation GreenGuard SL Insulation Board is ideal for placing insulation board on the foundation exterior and/or below the slab, providing thermal protection against external temperatures.
Extruded Polystyrene foam composition found in the insulation board provides an R-value of 5.0 per inch of thickness. Compressive strength resistance to moisture absorption helps deliver excellent thermal performance, while an interlocking shiplap edge eliminates seams and gaps.
The insulation board maintains its integrity in below-grade and perimeter applications, and the closed-cell structure provides long-term moisture resistance for extreme below-grade and wall system applications. The product may be used for insulating interior basement walls where a gypsum board or other fire-rated wallboard is used.
Available in product thicknesses ranging from 1-2 inches, each 2-foot x 8-foot or 4-foot x 8-foot section's lightweight construction is easy to cut and install. It is Energy Star qualified.
