Yorktowne's Metropolitan slab door style with matching drawer front creates a tantalizing visual with its application of rift cut wood veneers. Available in cherry, maple and oak, Metropolitan begins with a furniture board core that's banded on all sides with 3/16 inch thick solid wood veneer. Hinges are self-closing and concealed.
The rift creates a vertical wood grain pattern that complements the door's clean straight lines. Depending on the finish, the grain can be accentuated or completely hidden. Metropolitan Cherry wall cabinets stained in Garnet reveal the vertical grain pattern. A rich painted look can be achieved by choosing an Onyx finish on Metropolitan Maple.
Yorktowne offers a full palette of stains and opaque finishes. To accommodate the popularity of decorative and glass inserts, Metropolitan also offers a 3 inch door frame.
