Johnson Hardware pocket door privacy lock for doors 1-¾ inch thick installs without risk of invalidating the door warranty. These locks can be used as is with either left - or right-handed doors. The patented lock is sized to fit standard 2-1/8 inch diameter bores and 2-3/8 inch backset openings. The locks latch automatically when the door is closed. A single touch of the button in the center of the pull unlatches the door. To lock, just press the smaller button and the other side is locked out until opened again from inside. A safety release is located discreetly on the outer side in case of emergencies. The lock is available in bright brass, antique brass and satin chrome finishes.
